Privacy policy
How we use your information.
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This policy explains how Amplified SEO Limited uses personal information when you visit this website, contact us or book a consultation. It also explains how to ask about your information and exercise your rights.
Who we are
Amplified SEO Limited is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at info@amplifiedseo.co.uk or write to Trade Fair House, 2 West Court, Enterprise Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 6JD.
Our Information Commissioner’s Office registration number is ZC055412. View our entry on the ICO register.
The information you provide
When you enquire, we receive the details you send, such as your name, email address, website, business information and message. A consultation booking can include your name, contact details, chosen time and information you provide about the meeting. Correspondence may include notes needed to understand your requirements and prepare a proposal.
Please only send information needed for your enquiry. Do not include passwords, payment card details or sensitive information about your customers.
Why we use it
- To answer enquiries and discuss work. We use contact details and your brief to respond, understand your needs and prepare proposals. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before a contract where that basis applies.
- To organise consultations. We use booking details to arrange the meeting and communicate about it, based on the same legitimate interest in discussing your requirements or pre-contract steps where applicable.
- To deliver agreed services. We use relevant contact, project and account information to carry out the work. Depending on the relationship, the basis is performance of a contract or our legitimate interest in managing a business client relationship.
- To administer and protect the business. Relevant records may be needed for accounting, legal obligations, security or resolving a dispute. We rely on the applicable legal obligation or our legitimate interest in maintaining accurate records and protecting the business.
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Website and service providers
The website and its enquiry form are provided through Squarespace. Website visits can generate technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, page requests and referrer information. This supports website delivery, security and usage reporting.
We use Google Workspace for business communications. The consultation calendar uses Google’s appointment-booking service and Google Meet. When you use an embedded calendar or video, your browser connects to the relevant provider. That provider may receive technical information and use cookies under its own terms.
Providers process information as needed to supply their services. Their information is available in the Squarespace privacy policy and Google privacy policy. We may also share relevant information with professional advisers or authorities where necessary for advice, a legal obligation or a dispute.
Cookies and embedded content
Squarespace uses cookies for website functions and can use analytics cookies to measure visits. Embedded services can use their own cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies through your browser and any cookie controls shown on the site; restricting them can affect features such as embedded booking and video.
Read Squarespace’s guide to its cookies for their purposes and durations. Cookie preferences on an external service are also governed by that service’s settings.
How long we keep information
We review unsuccessful enquiries after 12 months without meaningful contact. We delete the personal information unless an ongoing discussion, legal requirement or another specific, documented need justifies keeping it. This review covers our inbox and stored enquiry submissions.
When an enquiry becomes a client project, relevant information forms part of the project records. We retain those records for the engagement and for the period reasonably needed afterwards to meet accounting and legal obligations, answer questions about the work or resolve disputes. Retention depends on the type of record and the continuing reason for holding it. We review information and remove what is no longer needed.
Information used in client projects
SEO projects can involve access to a client’s analytics, Search Console, reporting or website accounts. The information, access permissions and handling arrangements are agreed for the project. Where we process personal information on a client’s behalf, the relevant client remains responsible for its purposes and instructions, subject to the agreed data-processing arrangements.
International processing
Squarespace and Google operate internationally and may process information outside the UK. Their applicable contractual and transfer arrangements are described in their privacy and data-processing terms. Contact us if you need information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry or project.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use or receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent.
You have the right to object to use based on legitimate interests. You can also object at any time to your information being used for direct marketing. To make a request or raise a concern, email info@amplifiedseo.co.uk. We may need enough information to confirm your identity and locate the relevant records.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or call 0303 123 1113. You can contact us first so we have the opportunity to address your concern.
